Multi-Year Programme

Since May 2004 ITeE – PIB has been the Main Executor of the Multi-Year Programme PW-004 “Development of innovative systems of manufacturing and maintenance 2004-2008” established by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland. 

The key objective of the programme was the creation of system conditions and generating technical and organisational innovative solutions in the field of advanced products, as well as manufacturing and maintenance technologies, and also:

• the development of industry innovativeness, mainly in the field of production sector of small and medium-sized enterprises;
• the transformation of scientific and research achievements into practical applications and the transfer of the achieved solutions into economy in the field of machines and devices manufacturing and maintenance;
• the adaptation of solutions achieved within the framework of international programmes, in particular the EU programmes, to Polish conditions, paying particular attention to international standards.

The legal basis for the programme realisation was the RESOLUTION No. 97/2004 on the establishing of the Multi-Year Programme PW-004 entitled “Development of innovative systems of manufacturing and maintenance 2004-2008”, passed by the Council of Ministers on 21st April 2004.
