The scientific-research and training activity comprises works on the following issues: models of professions referring to the European qualification standards and practical skills of graduates; methods for the selection of vocational education and training contents that are in accordance with the labour market needs; the modular curricula of vocational education and training; the implementation of activating methods into the teaching process; the models of vocational education centres for adults aimed at the improvement of their operating rules and structure; ensuring the quality of education; educational and development systems; the creation of a multi-level modular system of continuing vocational education.
